2012 Term 2 School Events And Activities

 
March
  1. Primary 6 Theatre Experience (22nd March 2012)

  2. Primary 6 pupils will be going to Esplanade for their Theatre Experience on 22nd March 2012 from 11.00am to 1.00pm. The pupils will be watching a play entitled ‘My Friend, a Japanese Soldier’. Pupils will be dismissed at the usual time (1.30pm).

  3. Primary 3 Swimsafer Programme (23rd, 28th, 30th March & 11th April 2012)

  4. Primary 3 pupils will continue with the Swimsafer Programme on 23rd, 28th, 30th March & 11th April 2012.
April
  1. NAPFA Test (2nd & 3rd April 2012)

  2. The annual NAPFA Test will be conducted on 2nd and 3rd April 2012 for Primary 4 to Primary 6 pupils. The test will be conducted in school from 2.00 to 4.30pm on both days. There will be no enrichment classes and CCA sessions for all pupils on 2nd and 3rd April 2012.

  3. 5th Inter-House Road Run (5th April 2012)

  4. Our 5th Annual Inter-House Road Run will be held on 5th April 2012 from 2.00 to 4.00pm for Primary 4 to Primary 6 pupils. The venue for the event is at East Coast Park. Transportation to ferry the pupils to and from East Coast Park will be provided by the school. Please pick your child/ward from school at 4.30pm.

  5. Primary 5 Heritage Tour to Chinatown (9th April 2012)

  6. Primary 5 pupils will be going on a heritage tour to Chinatown on 9th April 2012 from 2.00 to 5.30pm.

  7. Science Workshop for Parents (14th April 2012)

  8. A Science Workshop for parents of Primary 5 and Primary 6 pupils will be held on 14th April 2012 from 9.00 to 11.00am.

  9. Semestral Assessment 1 - Oral and Listening Comprehension Assessment (16th to 26th April 2012)

  10. The SA1 oral and listening comprehension assessment for Primary 3 to Primary 6 pupils are as follows:
      16th April 2012 - Oral Assessment for Primary 3 and Primary 4
      17th April 2012 - Oral Assessment for Primary 5 and Primary 6
      26th April 2012 - Listening Comprehension Assessment

    Oral and listening comprehension assessment will be conducted during curriculum time.

  11. E-Learning Day (17th April 2012)

  12. E-learning Day has been scheduled on 17th April 2012 for Primary 1 to Primary 4 pupils only. Primary 1 to Primary 4 pupils need not come to school on this day. Primary 5 and Primary 6 pupils are required to be in school for their SA1 oral examination.

  13. Semestral Assessment 1 - Written Examination (19th April to 4th May 2012)

  14. The SA1 written examination for Primary 3 to Primary 6 pupils are as scheduled:
      19th April 2012 - English Language Paper 1
      20th April 2012 - Mother Tongue Paper 1
      27th April 2012 - English Paper 2
      30th April 2012 - Mathematics
      2nd May 2012 - Mother Tongue paper 2
      3rd May 2012 - Science
      4th May 2012 - Higher Mother Tongue
    (for Primary 5 & Primary 6 pupils only)

  1. Vesak Day School Holiday (7th May 2012)

  2. Vesak Day falls on Saturday, 5th May 2012, hence the following Monday, 7th May 2012 is a school holiday for all pupils.

  3. Principal's Dialogue with Parents of Primary 3 & Primary 4 Pupils (22nd May 2012)

  4. Principal's dialogue with parents of Primary 3 and Primary 4 pupils will be held on 22nd May 2012 from 7.30am at the school hall. Thereafter, parents will proceed to the Parent-Teacher Conference.

  5. Parent-Teacher Conference for Parents of Primary 1 to Primary 6 Pupils (22nd May 2012)

  6. The Parent-Teacher Conference will be held on 22nd May 2012 from 7.30am for all levels. The Parent-Teacher Conference is a good platform for parents to be updated on the academic progress of your child. Your child's report book will be issued to you during this session.

  7. Primary 5 Annual Camp (23rd to 25th May 2012)

  8. The Primary 5 annual camp will be held from 23rd to 25th May 2012 in Malaysia. The objective of the annual camp is to provide a residential experience for instilling stronger bonds among pupils, and at the same time allowing pupils to gain international exposure. More details on the itinerary and activities of the camp will be given nearer the date.

  9. Primary 6 Supplementary Classes (28th & 29th May 2012)

  10. The Primary 6 supplementary classes will be held on 28th and 29th May 2012. The classes will start at 8.00 am and end at 12.30pm. Please ensure that your Primary 6 child attends these classes.
