A parent, Xu Li Li registered her daughter in Opera Estate Primary School even though it is located more than 2km away from their home. There are available schools nearer to her home but she made her preferred choice after weighing the comments on various schools and her observations on the pupils' conduct. She also commented that teachers from Opera Estate Primary School care a lot for their pupils and hence she does not mind the longer distance.”
